Privacy Policy
Effective 9 September 2026
Overview
This page explains what Tell Me More stores about you, why, and how to delete it. The short version: we store what's needed to run your account and generate your reports, we don't run ads, and we don't sell your data.
What we store
Account: your email address and a bcrypt hash of your password — never the password itself. Reports and plans: the topics you search, the reports and comparisons you generate or save, and — for purchase decisions — your shopping plans, item progress (bought / skipped / unavailable), and any store-visit notes you add. Receipts you photograph in the Qarar app stay on your phone by default and are only stored on our servers if you turn on sync for that plan. We don't collect payment card details — card processing is handled by our payment provider, not stored on our servers.
Who we share it with
We use a small set of infrastructure providers to run the service, each processing only what it needs to do its job: Neon (Postgres database hosting), Vercel (application hosting), Anthropic (Claude — generates report and plan content from your topic), Resend (verification and account emails), and Upstash (rate limiting, so no single account can overload the service). We don't share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
Retention and deletion
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. Delete your account any time from Settings → Danger zone, or email hmtirawi@gmail.com and we'll do it for you. Deleting your account removes your profile, saved reports, library, and plan data; cached report content shared across users (e.g. a popular public report) may remain without any link back to you.
No ads, no selling data
We don't run advertising, and we don't sell, rent, or trade your personal data to anyone.
Cookies and session tokens
We use one HttpOnly session cookie to keep you signed in, and a short-lived cookie during signup/verification. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.
Children
The service isn't directed at children, and you must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
Changes to this policy
If we materially change what we collect or how we use it, we'll update the effective date above.
